The Chapel Hill Rear Range light was identical to the New Dorp Light and the Point Comfort light. The lighthouse is at the end of a long driveway on private property in a nice neighborhood. Please respect the owner's privacy. The winter is the best time to see more of this lighthouse because the majority of the trees won't have leaves.The Lighthouse Hunters Experience:
It is difficult to photograph this lighthouse due to the tall trees and the long driveway on private property. A few years ago there was an empty lot behind the lighthouse and that helped us out some. We were able to get to the fence and shoot through the bare trees during the winter.Photographed it: a few times, the last visit was on March 31, 2009
